- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have had over several occasions where I had to call the Sterling heights Police due to a son with a traumatic brain injury. Whether the situation was calm when they got there, or loud and filled with chaos, they were always professional and courteous. I am impressed with their training and abilities, and the way they handle delicate and volatile situations. Very happy to have them as our police force. And just so no one thinks I'm biased, I did get myself into a little trouble 20 some years ago, and had the pleasure of getting nice shiny bracelets from them, and they were professional and treated me properly, so from both sides, I say they are a great department and a great group of men and women.
